DAY 1- DEPART USA
Depart from New York
(JFK) for your overnight flight aboard South Africa Airways to
Johannesburg.
DAY 2- CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
Arrive
this morning into Johannesburg's Oliver Tambo International Airport.
Collect your luggage to clear South Africa Customs & Immigration. Re-check
your bags for your domestic flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival you will be met
and transferred to your hotel for the next four nights at the centrally located
Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge. Your hotel is just minutes away from
restaurants, pubs, theatres and shops. It is ideally positioned in the heart of
Cape Town's V&A Waterfront development.
DAY 3- CAPE TOWN
Cape Town is best
enjoyed based on your individual pace and interest. For the next few days, we
have arranged for you to utilize a 3-day pass on the popular “Hop-On Hop-Off”
Double Decker bus. Today utilize the Red Line Pass, where you can board a few
minutes' walk from your hotel. Wear your headphone and listen to the colorful
history and points of interest that Cape Town has to offer. Some stops you may
wish to get-off and spend quality time wouldinclude the District Six
Museum, South African Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center and the Iziko Slave
Lodge. One highlight stop is the Table Mountain Cableway where you may wish to
consider purchasing a ticket for the ride to the top of the
mountain.(B)
DAY 4- CAPE TOWN
With a better
understanding of Cape Town, continue to utilize your Red Line pass and spend
quality time at the various places that may be of interest to you. You may have
missed the opportunity to visit the South African Museum, the Gold Museum and
Camps Bay Beach. Do not miss out visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium, which is a
few blocks from your hotel. There are 17 designated stops on the Red Line and
the Double Decker arrives every 15 minutes at each stop. (B)
DAY 5- CAPE TOWN
The outskirts of Cape
Town is a delight to visit, with its rugged beauty as today utilize your Blue
Line Pass. Of interest is the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. You may
also want to visit an “informal settlement”, despite the poverty, you will
encounter people who could not be friendlier, where you will be enlightened
about the social problems and their hopes for the future. Enjoy a magnificent
coastal drive to Cape Point and visit Mariner's Wharf with excellent shopping
and dining. You may want to consider taking a harbor boat cruise. On the Blue
Line you can also visit the World of Birds in Houtbaai.(B)
DAY 6- TO PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK
After
breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town Airport for your
flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg you will be transferred to
Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge or Bakubung Bush Lodge in the malaria-free Pilanesberg
National Park. Your Lodge offers the best of both worlds when combining the
peaceful bush environment with luxury and comfort.Enjoy dinner this evening

DAY 7- PILANESBERG GAME SAFARI
This
morning board your open-air air jeep vehicle for a game drive in Pilanesberg
National Park.Virtually all the animal species of southern Africa exist
here, including a healthy populations of Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and
both black and white Rhino; Africa's “Big Five”. Birdlife is plentiful with
over 300 species recorded. Return back to the Lodge for some leisure time
beforeembarking your open-air vehicle for an afternoon game drive in search
for Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo and other wildlife before returning to the Lodge for

DAY 8- TO USA
After breakfast this
morning transfer back to Johannesburg airport to board your overnight flight
back to New York (JFK).(B)
DAY 9- ARRIVE USA
Early
morning arrival into New York (JFK).

DAY 8- TO VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
Depart
this morning from Pilanesberg National Park and transfer to Johannesburg
airportfor your flight to Victoria Falls. Transfer will be arranged from
the airport to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at your hotel
the A'Zambezi River Lodge, nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River
with river frontage and a jetty site.
DAY 9- VICTORIA FALLS
After
breakfast enjoy a guided tour of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the
World-Victoria Falls.While it is neither the highest nor the widest
waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. This is based on the
width of 5,604 feet and a height of 354 feet, which forms the largest sheet of
falling water in the world. This afternoon enjoy leisure time until you depart
on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise is a superb way to relax
and enjoy the beauty of the river. You may have the opportunity to see a
variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the
many different bird species.(B)
DAY 10- VICTORIA FALLS
Enjoy a morning of
leisure before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
