Africa has some of the earliest historical and biblical references dating back 1,000 years BC, King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba mention Ethiopia as Abyssinia and the of the Ark of the Covenant resting in Axum. Discovery site of the first humanoid, dating back 3.5 million years, Africa is the ancestral home of many of our sisters and brothers who can trace their roots and biblical connections to Ghana and Senegal in the western part of the continent and to the current emerging story of South Africa.
