Greece and Turkey
Greece and Turkey have played major roles in the development of Christianity. Paul’s second missionary journey was to Greece and so retracing his perigrinations in that part of the world has always been referred to as “in the footsteps of Paul.”
- Paul’s Second and Third Missionary Journeys include highlights such as; Philippi, Apollonia, Thessaloníki, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Ephesus and more.
- The Seven Churches of Asia Minor can be found in Turkey. These communities were cited in the Book of Revelations as Ephesus, Smyrna and Pergamum to name three.
