DAY 01- DEPART USA

Depart from New York City (JFK) for overnight flight to Johannesburg aboard South Africa Airways.

DAY 02- ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG/PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK

On arrival at Johannesburg this morning you will be transferred to Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge or Bakubung Bush Lodge in the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park. Your Lodge offers the best of both worlds when combining the peaceful bush environment with luxury and comfort. After relaxing this afternoon, enjoy a sundowner while interacting with the local Elephants.(D)

DAY 03- PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK

This morning board your open-air jeep vehicle for a game drive in Pilanesberg National Park. Virtually all the animal species of southern Africa exist here, including a healthy populations of Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and both black and white Rhino; Africa's “Big Five”. Birdlife is plentiful with over 300 species recorded. Return back to the Lodge for some leisure time before embarking your open-air vehicle for an afternoon game drive in search for Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo and other wildlife before returning to the Lodge for dinner.(B, D)

DAY 04- TO GROOTBOS PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

Transfer to Johannesburg airport this morning for your early afternoon flight to Cape Town. On arrival be met and transferred south of Cape Town to the most unique Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. Check into the Garden Lodge with its deluxe free standing one bedroom classic suites. This eveningenjoy a 5- course gourmet dinner with pleasant views of Walker Bay and the paradise surroundings.(B, D)

DAY 05- GROOTBOS PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

With a specialized guide enjoy a Big 5 Safari Cruise this morning featuring the amazing whales (Mid-August to first week of November). On a year round basis you will always witness Dolphins, African Penguins, Cape Fur Seals and surface viewing of the Great White Shark. After a light lunch at the Grootbos Resort, enjoy a Winery Tour, visiting a boutique winery in this region escorted by the owner. You will find this to be a unique experience, it is not a commercialized winery, and you will appreciate why South Africa has become a leading distributor throughout the world. DAY 06- GROOTBOS PRIVATE NATURE RESERVE

This morning visit the Kilipgat Caves evoking a vivid image of pre-historic times located at Walker Bay, home to Middle Stone Age peoples from 70,000 years ago. You may want to consider as an option to hop in a water cage for an up close view of the Great White Shark. After returning to your hotel for lunch, enjoy a Flower Safari tour with its unsurpassed beauty in a fantasy forest, where nature's magic awaits you at every turn in a wilderness of exquisite flowers and ancient Milkwood trees. DAY 07- TO CAPETOWN

This morning enjoy a drive on the scenic coastal highway towards Cape Town. Your home for the next two nights is the centrally located Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge, located just minutes away from the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Enjoy your afternoon and evening at leisure in which you will find popular restaurants, pubs, theatres and shops all within walking distance of your hotel.(B)

DAY 08- CAPETOWN

Cape Town is best enjoyed based on your individual pace and interest. Today, we have arranged for you to utilize a full day pass on the popular “Hop-On Hop-Off” Double Decker bus. You can board just a few minutes' walk from your hotel. Wear your headphone and listen to the colorful history and points of interest that Cape Town has to offer. Some stops you may wish to get-off and spend quality time would include the District Six Museum, South African Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center and the Iziko Slave Lodge. One highlight stop is the Table Mountain Cableway where you may wish to consider purchasing a ticket for the ride to the top of the mountain.(B)

DAY 09- CAPETOWN/RETURN USA

Enjoy a complete morning of leisure in this cosmopolitan city. Transfer early this afternoon for your flight to Johannesburg with a convenient connection for your overnight flight to New York (JFK).(B)

DAY 09- TO VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

Depart this morning from Cape Town and fly to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Victoria Falls. Transfer will be arranged from the airport to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at your hotel the A'Zambezi River Lodge, nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River with river frontage and a jetty site.

DAY 10- VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World-Victoria Falls. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. This is based on the width of 5,604 feet and a height of 354 feet, which forms the largest sheet of falling water in the world. This afternoon enjoy leisure time until you depart on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the river. You may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species.(B)
